Mike Matisa is one of those guys that you want to be around.  He is multi-talented, passionate, and caring, with an upbeat “can-do” attitude that is simply infectious.  His personality and life experience lends itself to his many faceted audiences large and small. Whether it’s improving people’s lives as a Certified Personal Trainer, singing and playing guitar at live venues and in the studio, co-hosting radio shows, or on screen acting and promoting products, he is at home.

Mike has been in the public eye in one role or another for over 25 years. He has been in the entertainment industry since 1983, starting out as a local DJ for clubs and private parties.  Mike then moved on to singing and playing guitar in 1992, showcasing original and cover material.   He is currently writing, recording, and pitching original material to major record labels, TV, and film, and also continues to deliver rockin’ and soulful live performances at local venues to this day.  As a result, he has a quite a following who enjoy both his music and his presence. Mike’s songwriting blends an adult contemporary sound with modern day pop and rock influences of the past. Packed with melodic hooks and heart-felt lyrics set to soundscape of  top caliber musicianship, his songs provide the listener with timeless additions to their collection.
